Breakfast any time of the day or night. Not up for breakfast? They have other items as well, like Texas Bacon Cheesecake (yum!). Food was cooked to order (we don't like crunchy bacon) and was served up pronto. Service was great, friendly and prompt. Try the Hash Browns All The Way, hold the gravy. It puts hash browns in a whole new light. Reminds me of an old fashioned diner.

It was Christmas Eve and we just wanted something later after the family gatherings. A Google search only gave us two options. IHOP in Newport or the waffle House in Wilder. We went for IHOP thinking it was larger than then other. Big mistake. IHOP was giving a 2hr wait with tons of empty seats. Not sure why the wait was so long, we turned and went for WH. We arrived to a packed waffle House dreading the experience. Again we we're surprised. Only this was a happy surprise. We had excellent service! Speedy seating. Food was great for what it is. I will admit for personal reasons I avoid the greasy stuff as a Norm. The atmosphere was busy yet relaxed. The food was hot and yummy. All the servers and cooks worked together to ensure that every customer was taken care of regardless if it was their table or not. I was impressed. I would recommene this waffle House.
Apparently management has no social or communication skills, not to mention the absurd level of poor managing skills. It always floors me to see how employees are treated at places like this. Since when is a public place where people are dining the appropriate setting for firing an employee because they aren't feeling well. Shows a complete lack of character, professionalism, social skills, and self control on part of this manager. What kind of company allows this? And right before Christmas?? The employee seemed calm, but the person in charge was totally out of control. I will never return to this location. I hope the employee's Christmas wasn't ruined. Horrible. Just horrible.
